Operations Manager – ViaMichelin (F/M)
1. Mission
As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the “Commissions” Business and be a key member of its executive committee, representing ViaMichelin operations and contributing to the definition and execution of the Business unit overall strategy.
With a comprehensive view of all ViaMichelin operations, you will ensure that each team functions efficiently, aligns with strategic objectives, and delivers high-quality results on time.
In addition to overseeing day-to-day execution across departments, you will be responsible for translating them into P&L performance, ensuring financial sustainability by optimizing both revenue and costs. Your focus will be on driving operational excellence, enhancing collaboration between teams, and ensuring processes that support ViaMichelin’s growth and long-term success.
You will be overlooking new and ongoing strategic initiatives for ViaMichelin, such as the development of new products and services.
2. Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Executive Leadership
- Actively contribute to defining the Commission’s overall strategy as member of Commissions LB’ executive committee.
- Translate the strategic vision into clear, actionable objectives and ensure their execution across all teams.
- Identify and anticipate business challenges, providing strategic insights and recommendations to the Management.
- Overlook Exploration / Innovation projects for the development of new products and services with ViaMichelin assets
- Represent ViaMichelin to stakeholders, embodying the brand with credibility and impact.
Operational Oversight & Execution
- Ensure that all teams (Product, Tech, Marketing, Editorial, Commercial) are aligned and delivering the expected results with the right level of quality, within deadlines, and according to business priorities.
- Support each teams in setting up clear KPIs to measure their operational performance and team efficiency.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between departments, removing bottlenecks and improving workflows.
- Implement and optimize processes to enhance productivity and ensure smooth execution across functions.
- Address and resolve operational issues that may hinder company growth.
P&L Forecasting & Financial Management
- Oversee ViaMichelin’s financial health by supporting P&L forecasting, execution, and cost control.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure proper budgeting, sales performance steering, and cost optimization.
- Identify areas of unnecessary expenditure and implement strategies to improve profitability.
- Ensure that revenue-generating activities (commercial, marketing, partnerships) align with financial goals.
Performance Monitoring & Problem-Solving
- Track key performance indicators across all functions and ensure corrective actions are taken when necessary.
- Analyze operational inefficiencies, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
- Act as a problem solver for teams, addressing roadblocks and ensuring smooth delivery of projects.
- Ensure that all business functions are data-driven, using insights to make informed decisions.
3. Required Experience & Skills
Experience & Background
- 5+ years in an operational leadership role, ideally in a digital business, startup, or high-growth company.
- Proven track record of driving execution, managing cross-functional teams, and improving business performance.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand the functioning and connections among different areas of a digital company (product, tech, marketing, editorial, sales, finance, etc).
- Experience managing P&L, financial planning, and cost optimization in a business environment is a plus.

- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Ability to represent ViaMichelin with different teams and executive stakeholders, translating strategy into a clear pitch.
- Financial & Business Acumen: Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management and aligning short term goals with a long term strategic view.
- Agility & Adaptability: Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced, small-business environment, capable of handling both strategic and hands-on tasks.
Package
Starting 80k€ + bonus + social package, depending on profile and experience.
