Job Description
About your tasks:
- Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team – Manage a department of ~300 employees, including shift managers, team leaders, and operational staff, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee Daily Operations – Ensure smooth execution of picking processes, meeting operational targets while maintaining high standards of accuracy, speed, and safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Drive Process Optimization – Analyze workflows, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize resource allocation.
- Monitor & Achieve KPIs – Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, order accuracy, and efficiency, proactively identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven solutions.
- Stakeholder & Cross-Department Collaboration – Act as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination with other warehouse departments, logistics, and senior management.
Qualifications
About you:
- You have completed vocational training or a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field.
- You bring an entrepreneurial mindset to production and process optimization, as well as implementing efficiency improvements and driving change.
- You possess strong leadership skills along with excellent team and communication abilities.
- You are well-versed in key performance indicators (KPIs) and can use them to efficiently manage your department.
- You have fluent English skills, both written and spoken and preferably you also have good German skills.
