About the Job
We’re looking for a motivated Operations Manager (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and support its operations and supply chain management strategies.
In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on developing plans to drive business development and operational growth and get the opportunity to contribute to various projects.
Join our portfolio company: A German ConTech company focused on reinventing building material procurement processes to overcome supply chain issues. The well-funded startup is led by experienced founders on a mission to uncover the untapped potential of global sourcing.
In this role, you’ll:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business development and operational growth, aligning with the company's overall objectives
- Identify and engage with potential suppliers and service providers, cultivating strong relationships to drive user acquisition and transaction volume on the platform
- Collaborate across teams, including growth and product development, to optimise platform performance, enhance user experience, and address operational challenges
- Analyse data and metrics to assess performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement
- Support the team in day-to-day operational activities and contribute to the overall success of the business's operations
Your Profile
- Experience in a highly competitive and fast paced environment such as Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Venture Capital or a high-growth startup
- Strong analytical and communication skills - have ability to clearly articulate complex subject materials
- Curious and passionate about hyper growth startups
- Want to change a traditional industry together with an international team
- Possess Hands-on mentality
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business or a related field
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
Please note that we’re looking for support in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work in the EU is required.
