We are currently looking for an Operations Lead to join our team in Nissan México. 

A Day at Nissan:

  • The Business Operations Lead (BOL) acts as the intermediary between business and operations during the major incident management process. The Business Operations Lead will partner with the business, application delivery organization, and infrastructure organization to help lead incidents while maintaining ownership of business operations.
  • This role will also own operational communications to both vendors and Nissan’s internal operations and business teams. Performing this function will require knowledge of existing domain processes with the intent on growing to become a cross-functional domain expert. 
  • The Business Operations Lead will make key inputs into the future run-the-business (RTB) budget allocations and the directional status of vendors. Focuses on identifying strengths and weaknesses in Nissan’s sourcing strategy based on post-incident root cause analyses then driving strategic direction. Leads discussions with contract negotiation and business teams to drive vendors to align with the organization’s goals.
  • Supports the major incident management process during major incidents through their lifecycle from identification through investigation, documentation and eventual resolution and closure
  • Establish projects based on root cause analyses, evaluating progress and quality, managing issue resolution process and taking corrective action as necessary
  • Identify new and innovative ways to utilize internal and external shared services to optimize efficiency and costs related to business operations.
  • Works directly with technology management, specifically the Strategy, Program and Project Managers, to understand and address overall vendor performance issues / concerns, and hold vendors accountable for contracted work
  • Develop incident reports for high priority availability-impacting events, including executive summary of event, next steps and action items, and sending to appropriate stakeholders and leadership
  •  Works with Solution Architects and Business Relationship Managers to determine strategic plans for technologies as to meet the wants, needs, and expectations of the business teams while proactively monitoring the organization for operational inefficiencies and potential solutions

Professional Profile We Are Looking For:

  • 5-7 years of experience in IT service management or a related field.
  • Experience in incident management process.
  • Experience in vendor management to hold them accountable for contracted work 
  • Microsoft Office 
  • Analytical skills
