YOUR MISSION

The way we manage our company is built on the belief that by giving a “WOW!” service to our clients, we will be able to change the delivery market. How are we doing it? By paying attention to all the details. Glovo is a hyperlocal marketplace featuring the trendiest places in each city & delivering their products in less than 30 mins.

Step up to the ambitious challenge of achieving best-in-class operations/delivery times in some of our most complex cities. Glovo offers an exciting opportunity for a data-focused, analytical professional who obsesses over details and is always looking for how to improve the performance of our couriers and partners (food and grocery). You will have access to unlimited data to facilitate creative decision-making and cooperate with a world-class team that can turn your recommendations for the country’s operations into an efficient reality.

This role is for a senior leader within Glovo’s Operations team, dedicated to enhancing the experience of our couriers and partners while optimizing overall delivery operations.

THE JOURNEY

  • Analyse data obsessively to identify trends and build successful implementation strategies for our operations
  • Improving and contributing to the upgrading of the delivery time, the efficiency of the courier, as well as the efficiency of delivery’s costs
  • Close cooperation with the global operations team and General Manager right-hand in any strategic topic
  • Understands, is committed to and manages supply chain status improvement to ensure operational excellence and excellent customer experience;
  • Assessment of strategic opportunities, performance of a wide range of quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Implementation, standardization and execution of processes in all cities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (couriers and third party logistics)
  • Team Leadership & Culture: Develop and mentor team leads, fostering a high-performance culture and growing top talent.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 5+ years total professional experience, preferably in ops/strategy consulting or in an operations/logistic company
  • Managerial experience - You should be able to motivate and develop teams
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics or similar preferred
  • Hands on mentality: manage the big picture and the smallest details
  • You´re always on top of your deadlines and you demonstrate to be passionate about organisation!
  • Proven experience of working with external partners to align on strategic initiatives, foster mutual growth, and ensure seamless collaboration
  • Experience in KPIs tracking and creation and optimization expertise
  • Problem solver, data-driven decision-making with an analytical approach (SQL and excel are a plus!)
  • Excellent communication skills (B2+ English and local language)
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
  • A deep understanding of how a delivery business works and a keen business mindset
  • Capacity to work at a fast pace within an ambitious Group
