AssetMark’s service strategy is focused on creating loyal customers by delivering speed, consistency, service touch and accuracy through the work of our Operations and Service teams.  This internship opportunity within Operations and Service will focus on a project or additional tasks required to support basic operational functions in Wealth Management. This role represents an opportunity for a candidate that wants to be challenged, is results driven, and passionate about learning new things.

The Job/What You'll Do:
Assetmark’ s Ops Intel Team (part of AMK’s Operations and Service organization) Internship Program offers an exceptional chance for students to acquire practical skills in the field of Data solutions. This program encompasses diverse projects across various domains within Assetmark. For instance, interns will engage in both exploratory research and analysis, as well as explanatory visual projects, making a meaningful impact on different business teams within Ops & Service. By participating in this internship, students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while developing a wide range of technical and interpersonal abilities. Over the course of the 10-week program, interns will build a network of peers and mentors who will provide continuous support and guidance.

In addition to the work experience, AssetMark encourages participation in the various networking and community service events that it sponsors. Interns will also have the opportunity to take advantage of various professional development and technical classes that are delivered by the AssetMark Learning and Development team. Successful candidates have a drive and a strong desire to work in a fast-paced, innovative, aggressive, change-oriented business environment with a strong desire to pursue corporate finance and accounting opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, will consider recent graduates
  • Preferred minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
  • High aspirations for a career in the IT or Data Analytics
  • High initiative and a strong desire to develop an exceptional work ethic
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communications
  • Being tech-savvy is a plus as we work on various software applications

Internship Details
Hourly wage: $17 per hour
Internship Duration: June 9th – August 15th

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
