Southeast Toyota Distributors is looking for an Operations Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment where new Toyota and Lexus vehicles are prepared for delivery to dealerships in the Southeast. Our Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) team operates in a structure that includes accessory installation departments and support teams under the influence of Toyota quality standards. This role will effectively support assigned departments’ day-to-day business operations by having oversight of daily production planning and labor requirements.
Responsibilities:

Partner with Supervisor to ensure assigned departments have adequate staffing, including coordination of temporary labor, to achieve daily goals, while managing call outs and other activities.

Maintain quality standards and investigate and assign quality inspection fails. Help coordinate quality containments and improvements.

Partner with the Shop Support Specialist to schedule training activities to promote a more flexible workforce and certification advancement.

Collaborate with the Planning Department and leadership to develop production goals.

Conduct daily start-up meetings to convey production plans, daily/weekly operating hours, and other pertinent information

Work with Shop Support Specialist for maintaining shop supplies, tools, machines, and other production floor needs.

Partner with Supervisor to ensure compliant use of time and attendance system. Assist team with time-off requests and proper scheduling to meet business needs.

Complete location-specific assignments as well as special projects.
