Wavetronix, the global leader in radar-based vehicle detection technologies, is seeking an Operations Coordinator whose primary task is to manage the customer relationship from receipt of order through fulfillment. The right individual for this role will have a strong work-ethic and customer service skills. He or she will actively contribute in a team environment and will develop strong influence and trust with team members.

A successful Operations Coordinator will accomplish the following:

First 90 days

  • Learn the roles and purposes of territory teams.
  • Proactively participate as a team member on an assigned accounts / territories.
  • Navigate basics of ERP system and customer relationship management software, including order lookup, PO entry, invoicing.
  • Understand Wavetronix warranty policies and programs.
  • Enthusiastically participate in personal development training.

6 months

  • Proactively develop and nurture key relationships with assigned customers, acting as main point of contact for key accounts relating to Operations.
  • Participate on multiple territory / dealer teams.
  • Proficient in navigating both ERP and customer relationship management tools.

Year 1

  • Independently manage several customer accounts as assigned.
  • Manage regional inventory stocking programs.
  • Manage international accounts, including preparation of proforma and commercial invoices for Customs compliance, CUSMA documentation.
  • Manage warranty documents, final acceptance information, Notice-to-Owner and lien processes for customer projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to review customer terms for inconsistencies.
  • Occasional travel to the field to assess customer wellness and participate in territory business reviews.

Desired Experience and Competencies

  • Strong customer service experience and related skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
  • Experience with CRM and ERP databases.
  • Well-organized and excellent at following through.
  • Proactively manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence with individuals and teams.
