We have offices in New York, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, London, and Gurgaon. This position will be based in Gurgaon, India.
About the role:
We are seeking an experienced operations coordinator to join the Streaming Operations team. This is a very important role, as you’ll be at the heart of our content distribution hub.
More specifically, the coordinator’s primary focus will be to manage streaming video content in our CMS and be responsible for the delivery and preparation for widescale distribution of TMB’s streaming TV channels . Another key aspect of the position is that you will help optimize and maintain the metadata database that supports TMB’s episode library and overall channel experience.
You will coordinate closely with all teams within the streaming department, including programming, production, marketing, data, apps, and more.
This position will report to the Director of Streaming Operations.
About you:
You are passionate about digital streaming TV and have experience using CMS applications to manage video data. You have a strong grasp of the complexities of video metadata and the implications it has on end-user experience. You are a self-starter with an eagerness to always learn and develop your skills with the goal of creating an exceptional experience for our audiences.
Your day-day:

  • Package, prepare, and transfer finished TV episodes to TMB’s growing list of global distribution partners, ensuring quality control before final delivery
  • Create and maintain metadata of streaming assets within various CMS systems
  • Build out streaming episodes within distribution vendors’ scheduling systems, placing promos and ad cues to meet channel requirements
  • Interface and communicate effectively with other departments including Programming, Apps, Production, Marketing, and more
  • Work with external distribution vendors to communicate our shared organizational needs
  • Identify possible workflow and process improvements and communicate them to the Director of Streaming Operations or their designee
  • Execute other duties as designated by various stakeholders from the Streaming team
  • Facilitate and execute data clean-up initiatives

You have: (aka Qualifications)

  • 1 year in Digital Media, Streaming TV, or Content Operations
  • Experience with CMS applications and distribution systems including MRSS feeds, s3 transfers, and other transfer methods
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong English communication, both written and verbal
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office (particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word)
  • Personality profile to fit into a high-growth, entrepreneurial culture that requires teamwork and significant interaction with employees at all levels
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile growth environment where you will have a major hand in the final product
