We play a vital role in supporting the resource sector by providing high-quality catering, hospitality, and facilities maintenance services.

We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our Energy & Resources Offshore operations portfolio on a full-time, permanent basis. This position aims to ensure the smooth delivery of Sodexo Quality of Life Services by managing reporting, staffing, mobilization/demobilization, and other operational tasks. The Operations Coordinator will collaborate closely with Offshore Site Managers and the Operations Manager to meet all client delivery requirements, both onshore and offshore.

Although this role is based in Perth with the option to work from home, applicants should be prepared for regular site visits and be available on call to respond to any emergencies that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment: Coordinate strategic recruitment drives, assist with mobilization/demobilization, manage casual labor pool, and support performance management.
  • Administration: Oversee payroll, draft communications, maintain compliance, prepare reports, and manage action trackers.
  • Coordination: Arrange travel and accommodation, mobilization of assets, manage subcontractors, mobile plant operations, handle injury management, and support enterprise agreement clarifications.
  • Reporting: Ensure compliance with client and Sodexo contract management processes, manage P&L impacts, and participate in improvement processes initiatives.
  • Support: Assist with performance reviews, tender deliverables, grievance resolution, and global initiative rollouts.
  • Training: Guide training certification processes, ensure compliance, and support HSE training requirements.
  • Site Travel: Conduct site visits, perform HSE assessments, and streamline operations.

Qualifications:

  • Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) + CAEBS + ECHUTE
  • MSIC, OGUK Medical, Shell Prelude E2 Medical, CoST & Amsa Medical
  • Experience in operations management and project management is highly valued
  • Experience in Offshore Energy and Resources
  • Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to read and interpret Enterprise Agreements and contractual scopes of work
  • Experience managing a unionized workforce
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
