The key responsibilities of the Operations Analyst role are:
- Perform integrity testing of Escode deposits (a process of basic validation) to ensure the contents are virus-free and accessible, in line with operational level agreements.
- Perform accurate updates to the relevant business systems following the integrity testing of a given Escode deposit.
- Where issues are discovered with a given Escode deposit, it is the responsibility of the Operations Analyst to ensure all details are accurately logged and followed-up on within department SLAs.
- Liaise with contracted parties and internal departments to address any issues which may arise during the material depositing process (such as export controls, ITAR, personal data, incomplete deposits etc.).
- Liaise with the Escode Legal team on any applicable matters relating to sensitive data or compliance/regulatory requirements.
- Perform Verification exercises which are within the skillset of the individual Operations Analyst.
- Produce and issue Integrity Test/Verification reports, ensuring all documentation meets the required accredited standards.
- Liaise with contracted parties to address any questions relating to a given Integrity Test/Verification.
- Liaise with finance/invoicing teams to ensure invoices are raised for any chargeable work.
- Provide first-line and administrative support to assist with the deposit process through the appropriate depositing platform.
- Handling of requests to release or destroy deposits with the Deposit Operations team, in line with company policy and legal contracts.
- Handling of inbound customer queries including but not limited to deposit records, contract amendments and issues regarding depositing platforms.
- Participate in both internal and external audits, as and when required.
- Where required, assist with the various administrative process related to Escode depositing and Verification.
- Participate in, and provide input to, the training required to fulfil the role in a continually developing technically landscape.
- Where reasonable requests are made from management, aside from the responsibilities above, the Operations Analyst will carry these out to the best of their abilities.
Key competencies required:
The key competencies expected of an Operations Analyst are:
- A high-level of accuracy and attention to detail, in relation to any of the key role responsibilities.
- Confident, clear communicator, both written and verbal.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to constantly assess priorities and make sensible decisions based on this.
- Knowledge and experience of working with common, modern operating systems.
- An understanding of virtualisation, with a particular focus on VMware.
- Educated to A-Level/Degree level in an IT, computing or relevant discipline.
Desirable skills:
The following are the desirable skills for an Operations Analyst:
- Experience with Salesforce.
- A basic understanding of the public-cloud providers, such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Basic programming experience with a knowledge of common languages (SQL, C/C++/C# etc.).
- A basic understanding of the various software development lifecycle models.
