Operation Manager
Austin, Texas- Hybrid
Position Summary
Thales is currently looking for an Operation Manager to lead the SRE team and drive the support of the solution.
Key Areas of Responsibility

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Site Reliability Engineers (SRE).

Set-up and manage operation processes and workflows to ensure reporting to management and enhance operations efficiency.

Develop and implement support strategies and initiatives that align with business goals.

Analyze customer feedback and support metrics to identify areas for improvement.
-
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective support resolution and communication.
-
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to support operations.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar Technical field or, in lieu of a degree, 4 years of relevant, exempt experience as equivalency.

At least 5 years of experience as operation manager including team management.

At least 2 years in design or deployment or operation of microservice based architecture solution deployed in a cloud infrastructure.

Demonstrated ability to analyze KPI’s and customer feedback to improve efficiency and process
-
At least 2 years of experience in software tools (datadog, containers and microservices based architecture (Docker, Kubernetes, Java), CI/CD and automation (Jenkins, Gitlab, Helm) and public cloud deployment.
