Job Description

As an Open World Level Designer, you will be responsible for designing, scripting, and optimizing areas and systems within the game to meet the director's vision and enhance player engagement. You will collaborate with various teams to deliver high-quality open-world experiences.

Your daily tasks:


  • Owning areas of the game and delivering them to a high quality.

  • Designing in-game communities and open world activities that align with the director's vision.

  • Prototyping/scripting encounters and refining the gameplay feel for specific open-world systems, then integrating them into the game.

  • Writing clear and consistent design documents for game mechanics and systems, ensuring they are fun and satisfying.

  • Working closely with departments such as Programming, Animation, Modeling, Art, Quest, and Level Design.

  • Creating an environment that encourages open dialogue and fosters new creative ideas.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an open world, level, or game designer.

  • Experience in designing open-world content.

  • Knowledge of various visual scripting tools/languages.

  • Having experience or willingness to work with simple scripts connected with open world system like population and encounters.

  • Positive attitude and proactive approach.

  • Good command of English, as we operate entirely in English.

  • Passion for video games, with knowledge of the latest titles and trends, especially in Open World sRPG.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in shipping AAA titles, ideally with at least one shipped Open World RPG.

  • Experience in level design.
