We're seeking an experienced web developer who excels at writing clean code, understands the structure behind technical decisions, is well-versed at debugging complex systems, and can clearly communicate in both technical and non-technical language. As a member of Crowd Favorite, you'll leverage these skills to both build new features and maintain high-performing content management platforms for enterprise clients, with a focus on stability and performance while growing your technical capabilities.
- Implement new features and maintain existing enterprise CMS platforms
- Provide technical support for business-critical code
- Debug and resolve complex production issues
- Optimize system performance and implement caching strategies
- Build custom plugins and integrate third-party services
- Monitor and maintain high-traffic production environments
- Perform security updates and code maintenance within defined SLAs
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and technical planning sessions
- Collaborate with senior developers on architecture and best practices
- Contribute to technical documentation
- Support client communications alongside fellow team members
Required Experience:
- 3+ years of professional PHP development experience, including Laravel applications and WordPress
- TypeScript and Node.js expertise, with experience in modern JavaScript frameworks
- Demonstrated experience maintaining and extending enterprise content management platforms
- Proven ability to debug complex production issues and implement automated testing solutions
- Solid understanding of API development, integration, and RESTful architecture patterns
- Advanced knowledge of performance optimization, caching strategies, and scalable solutions
- Proficiency with version control systems and modern deployment processes
- Experience working with cloud platforms and services like AWS and Cloudflare
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive documentation
Technical Capabilities:
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Ability to implement complex features independently
- Understanding of database optimization and query performance
- Experience with modern development tools and practices
- Knowledge of security best practices and updates
- Comfort with command line and server environments
- Experience with build tools and deployment processes
