You help implement the operational excellence program in a specific function and/or for cross-functional continuous improvement (CI) projects. You are not only responsible for applying CI tools and techniques for problem solving and performance improvement but more importantly, you help employees improve their CI skills and build their self-sufficiency.
How you will contribute
Key Responsibilities:

  • IL6S Program Management:
    • Ensure accurate tracking and monitoring of IL6S phase progress across plants and BUs, adhering to the global roadmap and master plan.
    • Establish and maintain a robust governance system across BUs to continuously improve pillar work processes and provide tailored support to address specific needs in the Operational Excellence/IL6S program.
  • Performance Monitoring & Improvement:
    • Monitor and challenge performance against Mondelez's Business Improvement Cycle (BIC) balanced scorecard targets (HSE, Quality, Delivery, Value Creation, Sustainability, Morale, Cost, Cash, etc.).
    • Lead and drive initiatives to enhance IL6S capability development, supporting progression through subsequent phases.
  • Operational Excellence Leadership:
    • Champion the development and implementation of end-to-end Operational Excellence initiatives in partnership with Procurement, Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L), and Commercial teams.
    • Act as a guardian of global standards, ensuring consistent implementation of the IL6S program globally, in collaboration with regional/BU subject matter experts.
  • Best Practice & Knowledge Sharing:
    • Lead the development and implementation of global metrics to benchmark IL6S progress, identify, and share best practices across MSC functions, facilitating replication and driving a truly global, standardized Supply Chain Excellence program.
    • Lead the development of global IL6S training materials in collaboration with regional/subject matter experts.
  • Communication & Engagement:
    • Animate the IL6S program through various Mondelēz communication channels, celebrating successes, recognizing contributions, and promoting operational excellence as the standard way of working across MSC.

    • External data service providers and peer companies for industry benchmarking information.
  • Internal:
    • Global MSC Leadership Team
    • Regional/BU MSC Directors/Cluster/Plant Leads
    • SCE community
    • Regional/BU/Site SCE Leads
    • All levels within the MSC organization


Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Fluent in English.


Experience Required:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in a technical function within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in Lean/TPM methodologies through hands-on operational experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying Lean principles across the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Proven leadership experience in large-scale projects and organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Strong track record of leading and directing others, with experience in previous leadership roles.
  • Exceptional influencing and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong, collaborative, long-term relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders.
  • Experience leading cross-regional and cross-functional teams.
