Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced customer-focused and enthusiastic IT Asset Build engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to our Client at their London office location.
You will be part of a wider IT support team with day-to-day activity involving Lifecycle Management of HP End User Workplace equipment (laptops) while offering exceptional customer service.
You will have good written and spoken communication, hold a genuine interest in IT hardware resolution, be a diligent administrator and organised.
This is a full-time on-site permanent position working 37.5-hours per week, Monday - Friday 09:00 – 17:00.
Key Responsibilities:
- ServiceNow queue ticket management of assigned tickets ensuring appropriate updates and call management to maintain Service levels as per contract
- Highlight potential issues with service/potential service improvements to their Team Leader
- Follow any agreed processes and procedures either from the Authority or DXC
- Standard/Non-Standard Builds and Device imaging
- New user device and usage overview/familiarisation
- Provision of Technical advice
- Maintain IT assets with latest OS patches and updates
