About the Role

We are seeking an Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our New York City office, playing a vital role in creating an organized and positive environment for our growing team. The Office Manager will be responsible for maintaining administrative and operational best practices, in addition to supporting special projects related to HR and IT. This role is based on-site at our New York City office.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and enhance office needs; come up with creative and efficient solutions to keep things running smoothly
  • Lead a wide variety of organizational projects within People Operations and cross-functionally
  • Assist our IT team with issues as needed and support the storage and management of devices
  • Be a champion of Charlie Health’s culture through planning events and team meetings
  • Assist with onboarding new employees and ensuring they have what they need to be successful each day in the office
  • Track and distribute mail and shipments
  • Be the person in the office with all the answers–someone who team members and visitors can rely on for information
  • Support leadership with one-off special projects

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Office Management or related fields; startup experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and listening skills, with a natural, consultative style
  • Ability to energize, align, and manage a cross-functional teams
  • Meticulous attention to detail across internally facing and externally facing work
  • Excellent leadership skills, combining a low-ego approach, competitive spirit, and ability to motivate and empower others
  • Self-starter who is biased towards action and urgency
  • Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency 
  • Able to work a schedule of 5 days/week in our NYC office and located within 75 minutes' commuting distance of the office

The total target base compensation for this role will be between $53,000 and $70,000 per year at the commencement of employment. In addition to base compensation, this role offers a target performance-based bonus. The target total cash compensation range, including potential bonus, will be between $58,000 and $77,000 per year. Please note, pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location, experience, expertise, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Further, cash compensation is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may include stock options and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits.
