You'll be the strategic partner in creating a workplace that not only supports but enhances our employees' experiences. You'll oversee the physical environment, plan engaging events, and ensure that our office operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Your days will be filled with:

  • Managing our workplace, including the design, layout, and amenities, to create a space that is comfortable, functional, and encouraging productivity.
  • Planning and organizing workplace events and activities that promote employee connections, such as team-building activities, social gatherings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Communicating regularly with employees to gather feedback, address what we can improve, and keep them up to date on workplace policies, procedures, and events.
  • Collaborating with other departments like HR, IT, and Finance to ensure that the workplace meets the evolving needs of our employees.
  • Optimizing workplace spend to ensure cost-effective operations without compromising on quality.
  • Acting as the 'face' of our company, ensuring visitors receive a warm welcome, and coordinating all front desk activities, including calls, reservations, and guest services.
  • Handling relationships with various vendors providing essential services such as cleaning, catering, and facilities maintenance. You'll negotiate contracts, manage services, and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Ensuring health and safety compliance by implementing and maintaining standards, conducting regular safety audits, providing safety training for employees, and staying updated on health guidelines to create a safe and healthy environment.

You need these qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing office operations or workplace experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Direct experience in event planning and coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough understanding of workplace policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.

Nice to have: 

  • You have experience in a fast-growing tech environment.
  • You have a background in facilities management or hospitality.
  • A high level of fluency in Dutch
