The Office Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. This job is on-site 5 days a week at our Baytown office.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • DISA background checks
  • Keeping up with Safety Council Classes / Setting up classes
  • Badge Request Forms
  • Building Job Books
  • Assist all my employees with HR questions / Be the face for New Hires
  • Order equipment for jobs / Needs to be on construction letter for each job
  • Payroll / Schedule

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
  • Ability to work independently.

Education and Experience:

  • Two to Three years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Microsoft Excel expertise is a must
  • DISA Experience Preferred
  • ADP Experience Preferred
