Position Summary:

Responsibilities:

We are actively seeking a Studio Manager for our NY Studio location to manage and oversee the overall daily operations of the business. The role of Studio Manager is to actively manage all operations in Studio, including, but not limited to:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the spa, including scheduling, team management, and ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensuring luxury and high-quality customer service is provided to clients, addressing any complaints or concerns promptly, and maintaining a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.
  • Managing the spa's budget, monitoring expenses, and implementing cost-effective strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Implementing marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones. This may involve online and offline marketing, promotions, and special events.
  • Overseeing spa supplies, products, and equipment, and ensuring an adequate inventory is maintained for smooth operations.
  • Ensuring the Studio complies with all health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness, and providing a safe environment for both clients and staff.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Collaborating with Joanna and the team to develop a diverse and appealing menu of services and treatments to meet the needs and preferences of clients.
  • Conducting performance evaluations for the team, providing feedback, and offering opportunities for professional development and growth.
  • Overseeing the maintenance and cleanliness of the Studio, ensuring it is well-maintained and meets the highest standards.
  • Developing strategic plans to achieve business objectives, such as increasing revenue, expanding the client base, or introducing new services.
  • Keeping abreast of trends in the spa and wellness industry, including new treatments, products, and customer preferences.
  • Ensuring the Studio operates in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including employment laws and health codes.

This position serves as the main point of contact with our clientele, both in Studio and in person.

The Studio Manager must be detail-oriented, organized, able to prioritize and multitask, work well independently, assertive but personable, remain calm under pressure, comfortable with delegating and managing, and confident in interactions with walk-in clients. The Studio Manager must also remain calm under pressure and be professional and discreet at all times as this position interacts frequently with high-profile clientele.

The Studio Manager manages all treatment scheduling and must be familiar with scheduling systems and managing multiple ever-changing schedules. An important part of this role is being knowledgeable of all retail products in order to answer questions and make product recommendations. The Studio Manager is also encouraged to make recommendations and implement ideas to improve the client experience in Studio.

The Studio Manager must have inventory experience as well as experience with business targets and goals. The Studio Manager will be expected to analyze retail inventory in-Studio, to make suggestions, and to suggest strategies to clear stagnant inventory.

Luxury retail experience in a high-end luxury beauty environment and managerial experience is highly recommended. Attention to detail and a hands-on attitude is appreciated.


Qualifications:

- College degree preferred or equivalent experience.

- Luxury Retail Experience.

- Ability to work flexible days and hours, weekends and holidays as needed.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
