Overview:

NXP is seeking a Project Manager to work as a member of its Global Human Resources Project Management Office (PMO). The person will be part of a dynamic, global team managing annual HR programs and leading enterprise-wide HR projects and initiatives that span multiple centers of excellence, countries, and business units.

 

The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, assertive, and able to take ownership of projects with minimal oversight. They will drive project execution, anticipate challenges, and proactively implement solutions to ensure successful outcomes.

 

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Drive projects to successful completion by proactively managing scope and timeline

  • Take initiative in identifying risks, removing roadblocks, and implementing solutions to ensure project success

  • Demonstrate assertiveness in stakeholder management, ensuring accountability and alignment across teams

  • Partner with internal and external teams to provide end-to-end project leadership and oversight of global HR projects throughout the lifecycle

  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives

  • Lead with confidence, ensuring project execution remains focused on key milestones and business needs

  • Support the planning and allocation of resources to optimize project efficiency

  • Develop structured plans to monitor, track and report on project progress, proactively adjusting as needed

  • Maintain clear and comprehensive project documentation to support decision-making and future improvements

  • Communicate effectively at all levels, keep stakeholders engaged and informed throughout the project lifecycle

  • Solve problems decisively, leveraging data-driven insights to remove bottlenecks and maintain project momentum

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to a culture of continuous optimization

  • Proven ability to drive results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Assertive, confident, and able to influence stakeholders across different levels of the organization

  • Takes initiative and thrives in situations requiring autonomy and independent problem-solving

  • Strong leadership and accountability, ensuring alignment and execution of project objectives

  • High-level of attention to detail and structured approach to managing projects

  • Comfortable working through ambiguity to drive clarity and resolution

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining focus on priorities

  • Skilled at navigating organizational complexity and fostering cross-functional collaboration

  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to breakdown complex information into clear, actionable insights

  • Required proficiency in Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required (preferred track in Human Resources or Business Administration, or a related field)

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
