Job Description

The desired candidate will be a vital part of the Global IT team with a proven track record of designing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving to address challenges and opportunities within the New Product Introduction domain. The candidate will be part of the NPI IT Delivery team and responsible for successful offer launches. A person who is passionate about improving business processes, innovation and building scalable solutions and helping our business partners envision the future & how we enable it.


Basic Requirements

Oracle Configure Price Quote (CPQ) Developer plays a key role in our success. The Developer works with business users, product managers, Salesforce.com administration team, IT resources and third-party implementation partners to implement and maintain the Oracle CPQ solution, and typically has the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and support configurations, commerce, integrations, reports, workflow, and custom development in Oracle CPQ environment.

  • Complete complex program changes to translate requirement specifications into code.

  • Provide technical design to business solutions, direct developers and test the modules.

  • Conducts solutions presentations and obtains business acceptance to solution design.

  • Applies application specific technical skills to independently produce deliverables (i.e. specifications, program changes, unit test scripts, documentation, etc.).

  • Acquires and utilizes more in-depth business knowledge to support the applications.

  • Plans, documents, and executes unit test plans to ensure all code changes meet requirements, and specifications.

  • Support programming changes during quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and post implementation to ensure the integrity of application.

  • Respond to questions, researches and resolves issues to provide technical support for production applications.

Basic Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in large and complex Oracle CPQ engagements
  • Analyze current business processes, gather complex business requirements, prepare design and provide robust and scalable solutions
  • Oracle CPQ Configuration/BML Development knowledge to meet documented business process requirements
  • Develop and support Configuration, Commerce, integrations, reports, workflow, BML, and custom development in a CPQ environment
  • Working knowledge of complex product hierarchy and pricing models
  • Expertise in BOM, System Configuration, ABO, and Integrations
  • Good knowledge of REST APIs, CSS, JavaScript and XSL
  • Experience in handling CPQ Migrations and release upgrades
  • A better understanding of CPQ best practices and addressing performance-related issues
  • Should be able to troubleshoot and resolve the system issues within given SLAs
  • Playing a critical role in testing, evaluating, and delivering the high-quality end product
  • Sound knowledge in the Quote to Cash process
