NG PLM Solution Train Engineer for 3D Xperience business functions (d/f/m)

Job Description:

A vacancy for a NG PLM Solution Train Engineer for 3D Xperience business function(d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Spain).

It is an exciting time to join the Information Management (IM) Team. IM is the Information Technology (IT) business enabler and unique IM Business Partner for Airbus Defence and Space. As a central function, IM is involved in all business processes and enables technical as well as Management careers. IM covers a wide range of state-of-the-art technologies and positions ranging from IT infrastructure, application support to governance or strategic consultancy.

As a Solution Train Engineer (STE), you will be in the front line to shape innovative digital Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools that accelerate our goal of reduced product development lead time for our new generation of European defense weapon systems at Airbus. 
With the moto “building the things right”, the position owner will be integrated into our 3D Experience SAFe teams to

• Preparation of Product Increment Planning ceremonies

• Orchestrate the DevOp deployments of all test-, qualification.- training and prod platforms of 3dx

• Steer and scheduling the integration of the bugfixes, PP and FD's

• Lead the archiecture team to streamline architecture needs with the 3dx evolution

• Qualify the harmonised access management (PnO)

• Manage non-functional requirements & compliance

• Define and prioritize Enablers

Main tasks and responsibilities will vary upon assignment but may include:

• As STE you will lead the integrated plannning of 3DX One Platform technical releases together with all Airbus group divisions

• Pair with agile release trains (ART) and scrum teams to achieve common deliverables

• Ensure that components of the technical architecture, including interface design, are properly integrated and described.

• Provide technical excellence, support, and quality throughout all stages of projects

• Partner with all technical departments in the selection of new applications, technologies and solutions

• Help progress our DevOps initiatives and methodologies in sensitive and protected environments.

• Develop, promote, and teach best practices about security and digital continuity architecture

• Perform code and quality reviews

• Learn leading-edge architecture methods and practices

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Master degree in IT or Bachelor degree in IT with work experience

• SAFe, Agile engineering

• Process practices in large solutions or release trains

• Excel in fast-paced, results-oriented environment

• Experience in 3DX developments

• Experience with performance and failure analyses

• Familiarity with continuous integration and DevOP deployment

• Familiarity with computer science fundamentals

• Aptitude to learn new technology

• Comply with data security and data protection 

• Passionate personality 

• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)

• German/Spanish is a plus
