The Digital Experience & Automation Engineer is responsible for managing and optimizing the Digital Experience Management platform (Nexthink) to ensure high levels of digital experience, automation, and security across the organization. This role will involve the proactive monitoring, performance tuning, and automation of IT operations using Nexthink. The candidate should possess strong skills in scripting and automation, enabling them to drive further automation initiatives, integrate with various platforms, and improve operational efficiency.
A highly skilled Nexthink High-Level Engineer with 5 years of IT experience, including 3+ years specializing in monitoring tools and automation through PowerShell scripting. Expertise in enhancing digital experiences and optimizing IT operations by leveraging Nexthink capabilities along with ITIL processes like Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management.
- Oversee daily operations of the Nexthink platform, including proactive monitoring, investigations, and remediation planning/execution.
- Perform requirement engineering for customer demands, from initial design creation and implementation in Nexthink to testing, release to production, and validation of achieved improvements. Ensure solutions align with customer needs and Nexthink best practices.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing consultation on Nexthink capabilities, including advanced features like Infinity, NQL, remote actions, and dashboard development, to maximize digital experience optimization and proactive issue resolution.
- Manage Nexthink analytics, create investigations, campaigns, surveys, dashboards, and reports.
- Perform trend analysis of workplace-related business problems, identifying top incidents and collaborating with teams to minimize occurrences.
- Identify automation opportunities across IT operations and develop advanced scripts (PowerShell, Python, etc.) to streamline manual processes.
- Architect and implement end-to-end automation solutions that integrate with Nexthink and other ITSM tools, ensuring seamless workflows.
- Develop automated incident response mechanisms leveraging Nexthink analytics to triage and resolve issues proactively.
- Calculate the value generated from automation use cases and present findings to stakeholders.
- Define and refine automation strategies in alignment with business needs and technology advancements.
- Lead the integration of Nexthink with various IT systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Microsoft ecosystem) to support ITIL processes.
- Collaborate with automation teams to design and implement AI-driven solutions that enhance anomaly detection and service reliability.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for Nexthink platform usage, automation processes, and technical integrations.
- Establish rigorous testing frameworks for automation scripts to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Mentor and train team members on advanced automation practices, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Regularly review and refine automation solutions to adapt to changing business needs and technology landscapes.
