Position Summary
In this role you will be member of a team specialized in handling the details of change requests. You will work in a team with daily communication between different factory departments.
Reporting to Vendor Planner Leader and to the Production Control & Logistics Director, you will:
Your Role
- Support the development of an effective change management strategy based on a situational awareness of the details.
- Check in a global engineering data base if Bill of Materials is correct before approving change implementation.
- Approve from Logistics side the Impact Reports sent by Engineering team from each Project.
- Manage with Master Data Management Team the transfer of Bill of Materials to SAP, via JIRA ticket.
- Responsible to inform the Operations, Engineering, Finance and Production Control when new Bill of Materials are released under Change Notice, so that standard cost and routings for end model(s) and sub-assemblies are completed in operating system.
- Coordinate raw materials changes with SCM, Supplier, Operations and Engineering team (CIB Meeting).
- Manage raw material deviations in active BOM.
- Responsible to verify and maintain master data set-ups on SAP.
- Participate in Tech/Org reviews, approve Change Requests, participate in Change Implementation Boards by giving input to the change implementation plan.
- Coordinate the changes throughout the process in order to avoid E&O.
Your Background
- Degree in International Relations, Management, Economics, Industrial/Systems Engineering, Logistics;
- Proficiency in spoken and written English (mandatory)
- Excellent communication and organization skills;
- Knowledge of logistics processes;
- Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and proficient with MOffice tools;
- Experience in a similar role valuable.
