Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
- Drive the development of the global category strategy, defining sub-category strategies aligned with internal and external requirements.
- Build and manage strong supplier relationships, developing and implementing supplier strategies, including consolidation and performance improvement.
- Lead cost analysis and optimization, including annual price negotiations, market scouting, and cost benchmarking.
- Oversee capacity management, contract management, and supply chain risk mitigation.
- Provide expert consultation to procurement colleagues on legal contract matters, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.
Qualifications
Education
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or a relevant field.
- A degree from a renowned university is a plus.
- Legal knowledge is an asset.
Professional Experience
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, supplier management, and cost analysis.
- Proven track record of working with international stakeholders and suppliers in a dynamic environment.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage complex business relationships across international teams.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and adaptable to challenging situations.
- Team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel for business needs.
Languages
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge of German is a plus.
