Key Responsibilities:

Design & Deliver Scalable Networking Solutions: Address a variety of business challenges by supporting both physical and virtual networking environments that drive productivity and collaboration.

Innovation & Automation: Refine network tooling, automation, and documentation to ensure consistent, reliable service and continuous improvement across our global network.

Collaborative Problem Solving: Work cross-functionally with Business Technology, Workplace Teams, Security, and others to resolve incidents and identify opportunities for improvement in network performance and security.

Global Network Management: Ensure that our network infrastructure, from office connectivity to cloud environments, is seamlessly integrated, secure, and reliable.

Technology Research & Integration: Lead the research, evaluation, and implementation of innovative networking technologies that support both our global workforce and our mission of seamless, high-performance connectivity.

Network Monitoring & Optimization: Regularly monitor network health, optimize performance, and ensure that configurations remain consistent, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.

On-Call Support: Provide expert troubleshooting and support as part of an on-call rotation to swiftly address and resolve network outages and disruptions
What You Bring:

Experience & Expertise: 2+ years in network-based technology solutions, with a deep understanding of enterprise network design, including office, campus, and global connectivity.

Technical Proficiency: Proven knowledge of networking protocols (WiFi, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, ACLs, Routing, Firewalls) and experience with network monitoring tools.

Vendor Collaboration: Experience working with hardware/software vendors and Internet/WAN connectivity partners to implement and maintain solutions.

Security First Mindset: Strong focus on maintaining a secure, consistent end-user experience across a global network infrastructure.

Innovative Mindset: A passion for exploring new technologies and trends in networking and driving continuous improvements.

Preferred Expertise: Experience with Juniper/JUNOS, Palo Alto Networks NGFWs, and wireless networks, along with an understanding of office build and construction processes.

Customer-Focused: A commitment to delivering exceptional service to internal teams and employees, creating an outstanding experience for users across the globe.

Travel Flexibility: While travel is not a primary requirement, a willingness to travel is beneficial as needed.

Below is the annual On Target Compensation (OTE) range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual OTE, which is inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation, will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable) and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
