For our global IT team we are looking for a Network Manager (m/f/d) for our EMEA headquarter in Poing near Munich (permanent + full time position)

Your responsibilities
- Manages a team of IT professionals in EMEA
- Interprets and administers policies, processes and procedures that affect direct reports and the workflow of the team. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Contributes to budget development and performance standards of department and direct reports
- Collaborates with teams, customers, functional peer group managers and occasionally senior management. Participates and presents at meetings with internal and external representatives
- Oversees the technical expertise in the management of company networks; tests and analyzes network facilities, including network control software, routers, switches, lines, modems, and adapters
- Manages and coordinates the installations, supports, and/or maintains LANs and/or WANs; evaluates and recommends networking product and software upgrades
- Oversees the technical analyses of software, hardware and transmission facilities using various diagnostic tools in support of efficient network operations
- Monitors data traffic and controls network resource performance to ensure high-quality transmission
- Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves technical problems related to network failure/integrity
- Coordinates technical data/voice support to users and performs data/voice troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network problems
- Manages network needs and recommends/support changes in design and/or procedures
- Contributes to the design of data/voice network architectures and integrations
- Evaluates data/voice hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes appropriate recommendations based on findings
- Coordinates with stakeholders on installs, configures, tests, and troubleshoots network hardware and software
- Manages and establishes secure environments for networks being installed
- Manages the gathering of statistics on performance capacity and availability
- Manages the team which monitors, evaluates, and reports on the ongoing performance and capacity of assigned area(s) of the computing environments (software and hardware specifications) in order to ensure business requirements are met
- Manages the periodic maintenance of network devices to meet industry standards
- Responsible for audit compliance of network systems
- Support of Corporate Real Estate activity
- Management of client/customer requests
Who we are looking for
- 6+ years of Networking experience
- 2+ years’ experience managing or leading a team
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of cloud networking solutions Azure, AWS, or GCP preferred
- Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills
- Certification in network and/or cloud technologies is a plus
- Proficient project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
- Ability to handle fast-paced environments, multitask, and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good English and German language skills, both written and spoken
