Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Manager, IT - Network Engineering - Architecture Focus to join our IT Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of our network architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. You will lead a team of network engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure network solutions that meet the evolving needs of our organization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Network Architecture Leadership: o Develop and maintain a comprehensive network architecture strategy that aligns with business objectives and industry trends. o Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. o Ensure architecture is scalable, secure, and meets compliance requirements. 2. Team Management: o Lead a team of network engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure team members are equipped to deliver high-quality results. o Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team. o Manage team performance, provide feedback, and address any performance issues. 3. Network Design and Implementation: o Design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and data center networks. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other IT systems and services. o Ensure network solutions are aligned with industry best practices and comply with regulatory requirements. 4. Technical Expertise: o Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in network engineering and architecture. o Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team and other stakeholders. o Collaborate with vendors and partners to evaluate and implement new technologies. 5. Project Management: o Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines and deliver results. o Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation, and budgets. o Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. 6. Communication and Collaboration: o Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including business leaders and end-users. o Collaborate with other IT teams, such as security, cloud, and applications, to ensure alignment and effective integration. o Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, partners, and industry peers. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 8+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture, with a focus on design, implementation, and management of large-scale networks. • 3+ years of managing teams and projects. • Strong technical expertise in network protocols, architectures, and technologies, including: o Routing and switching (e.g., OSPF, BGP, MPLS) o Network security (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, access control) o Wireless networking (e.g., Wi-Fi, 5G) o Data center networking (e.g., spine-leaf, SDN) • Experience with network management tools and platforms (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Arista). • Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL). • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and projects. Nice to Have: • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE). • Experience with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins).
