The Xantium Group seeks a Network Engineer to join a successful and growing team. This person will build and maintain Xantium’s declaratively configured network infrastructure, ensuring consistency which is critical to the success of the business.
The Network Engineer will collaborate with Quantitative Researchers and Developers in both the U.S. and the U.K. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent troubleshooting skills and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Examples of responsibilities include:
- Delivering colocation sites with fast connections to exchanges
- Optimizing the network receive path for Linux trading hosts
- Delivering robust and reliable cloud setups for quantitative research
Compensation: Network Engineers in New York can expect to earn $175,000 to $225,000+ base. Total compensation for all Network Engineers also includes a large annual bonus which is guaranteed in year one and based on employee and firm performance thereafter.
