Key Account Manager S2Your mission
Relationship:
- Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with strategic accounts to achieve and exceed assigned sales, profit and share targets
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across sales, marketing, category, supply, finance, and field teams to achieve sales & share growth
Strategic planning & Execution:
- Lead the strategic and sales planning process inclusive of budget planning for designated accounts
- Lead monthly forecasting process for accounts
- Deliver on designated sales plans, targets, KPIs business goals, and budgets
- Plan & manage the execution of customer promotional, trade & new launch plans in line with brand strategy
- Negotiate shelf space, positioning, instore off locations & branding opportunity
- Negotiate CPI, MOVs, MOQs, pipe fill, clearance mechanics, promotional scan funding
- Lead cross functional execution of in-store activations together with all cross-functional partners
- Lead annual customer review process to ensure improved visibility and availability of your product range
- Explore commercial opportunities & negotiate Joint business plans to optimize trade spend and maximize sales
- Review & negotiate contracts & trade terms at the buyer level
Financial Management:
- Manage customer co-op & trade budget, monthly previsioning & reporting to finance
- P&L ownership from Gross Sales to Marketing contribution to drive growth & profitability on designated accounts
Insights & Monitoring:
- Track brand performance against an agreed customer plans to ensure activity ROI
- Monitor compliance to planograms & planned customer activity
- Weekly sales analysis & reporting across sell-in & sell-out
- Review, report & make recommendations on sales performance, promotional effectiveness & profitability increase
- Monitor & report industry, market changes, competitor activity to build into customer sales mitigation plans
- Manage stock forecasting to ensure accurate forecasts and delivery in full to customers incl. sell & in vs. Sell out dynamics
- Key Account Management admin, including range review submission, promo submission and day to day account queries & workload
