Job Description

As Narrative Director on Tom Clancy’s the Division 3, you will be key in defining and executing the game’s narrative strategy, realization, and overall experience. Working closely with other directors and leads, you will lead a passionate team and be the shepherd and champion of all narrative-related matters within this highly ambitious project.

We're offering a permanent position in Malmö, Sweden, with the flexibility to work partially from home (up to two days a week) under our Flexible Workplace Policy. Please apply using English, our company's primary language.

What you'll do

  • Establish, communicate, and champion the narrative direction for the project, both internally and externally – in harmony with overall creative vision and gameplay goals and structure
  • Be a key participant in shaping the themes, tones, and atmosphere of the game’s setting and overall experience
  • Guide the development of storylines, characters, and narrative systems, and ensure that they are executed to the expected quality
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure that narrative elements are properly integrated and realized, and achieve the desired outcomes
  • Ensure the quality and tone of the overall writing and scripts, as well as any scenes or cinematics
  • Be a key stakeholder in casting and recordings

You excel at communicating your vision to various stakeholders and leading strategic efforts with your team. Your team leadership experience equips you to navigate through challenges, provide constructive feedback, and streamline workflows. Besides the above we’re looking for someone aligned with our core values and the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in at least one full AAA videogame production, in a supervising role (Director, Lead)
  • Professional experience in supervising/directing a team
  • Capacity to clearly articulate and communicate vision and strategy
  • Advanced level in Storytelling and Narrative Design
  • A strong understanding of narrative-related pipelines
