The Role

The Multimedia specialist will help formulate the process and workflow as well as oversee the ad order entry and fulfillment of top-tier revenue accounts. The multimedia specialist will bring a high attention to detail, reduce error rates and make recommendations that will allow the organization to focus on business development.
The specialist will fill a gap in our current state process to help ensure we are accurately managing our assets and fulfilling on campaigns as requested. They will develop a process to report on the status of top tier accounts and also create an escalation plan to help minimize existing risks and lessen the impact of late or urgent ads and digital campaigns. They will also ensure the support organization delivers optimal results by using the correct targeting, tags and other digital optimization tools accurately.
What You'll Do:

  • Manage advertising campaign execution with various vendors and partners and aids in confirming fulfillment and accuracy.
  • Build relationships with advertisers while working in a collaborative sales environment.
  • Provide detailed communication with CMG service teams execute digital campaigns accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to evaluate product and service offerings against customer needs and budget to aid in creating a dynamic media plan.
  • Manage client expectations through a high degree of follow-through and communication with customers.
  • Support some pre-sale needs (assists with research gathering, in-house art design and speculative art requests, etc.).
  • Facilitate post-sale activities to ensure deadlines and business rules based on department are met.
  • Interact daily with clients and the media delivery team to ensure account retention and growth to improve customer service.
  • Initiate ongoing optimization of digital campaigns to meet KPI and campaign deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot advertising delivery and technical issues.
  • Independently makes decisions on changes to targeting, creative and other elements of ad campaigns and assets based on training, expertise and in response to events (ex. Breaking news, major announcements, etc.).
  • Work closely with the Order Services team, FRC and IT to ensure billing, credit and production issues are communicated and resolved quickly.
  • Assist with billing and order entry for digital & print campaigns in a variety of systems as needed.
  • Provide exemplary customer service to internal and external clients.
  • Crosstrain the completion of native/sponsorship campaign elements and pricing.
  • Manage and order the major advertiser sponsorships as well as any sponsorships sold to any client.
  • Work with Digital Strategists and creative teams to ensure that campaign plans are clearly communicated and completed in a timely manner
  • QA/Optimization
    • Create and execute an escalation and mitigation plan for items at risk and a mitigation plan for items that are missed or start late.
    • Create and maintain a watch list of the campaigns that are being tracked and QA'd.
    • Escalate and mitigation plans to AEs and management in the event a campaign or sponsorship/native campaign goes into a risk status.
    • Develop and establish an Optimization protocol once the QA piece is stable.
  • Attend calls with AEs based on schedule and approval from ops management to help provide context for how we can deliver on what the client needs/wants.

Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 3 years' experience; or 7 years' experience in a related field


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in a related field
  • Prior experience in media sales/sales support
  • Proven solutions-focused customer service skills
  • Experience with Customer-Relationship Management software like Salesforce

USD 23.17 - 34.81 per hour
Compensation:
Hourly base pay rate is $23.17 - $34.81/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
