Job DescriptionPosition Overview:
The Multi-Site Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes for Amcor Rigid Packaging plants in Franklin, IN, and Kenosha, WI. This role serves as a strategic partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support the company’s objectives. The Multi-Site HR Manager ensures the organization attracts, develops, and retains talented employees while fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

Collaborate with department leaders to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions, if necessary.

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.

Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.

Promote a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives.

Provide guidance to managers on performance evaluation and improvement plans.

Identify training and development needs to enhance employee performance.

Develop and implement training programs to support employee growth and organizational goals.

Coordinate onboarding programs for new hires.

Facilitate leadership development and succession planning.

Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.

Conduct salary benchmarking and recommend adjustments as needed.

Manage employee benefits enrollment and address related inquiries.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.

Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance and address any discrepancies.

Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with business objectives.

Analyze HR metrics and data to inform decision-making and improve processes.

Lead HR projects and initiatives that drive organizational effectiveness.

Partner with EHS Leadership to promote workplace safety programs and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Support workers’ compensation claims and workplace injury reports.

Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies for organizational growth and improvement.

Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Support change management processes and company-wide projects.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.

Proven experience (5-7 years) as an HR Manager or similar role.

Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Proficient in HRIS and other relevant software.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
