eBay, Inc. seeks MTS 1, Software Engineer in San Jose, CA
Job Duties: Participate in technical design, code reviews, and provide feedback to other engineers on the team, mentoring and onboarding junior engineers. Develop and deliver quality code to Production to ensure the code is maintained as per Market Standards and that all the flows within eBay are error-free. Design and build high-performing, reliable solutions for high-throughput, distributed systems using a variety of third-party and eBay internal libraries and frameworks. Design and implement efficient, reusable, intuitive, and flexible backend components using open-source technologies. Develop innovative solutions that meet functional and non-functional standards and expectations. Develop, test, release, triage, bug fix, document, and work in an Agile environment. Partial telecommuting permitted from within commutable distance.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Salary: $199,534.00-262,900.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
