Gojek is seeking a dynamic researcher who thrives on turning insights into strategy. In this role, you will plan, execute, and present comprehensive research projects that drive product development, growth initiatives, and overall business direction decisions. Collaborating closely with Product, Marketing and Strategy teams, you’ll transform data into actionable insights, ensuring our strategies are both innovative and effective. Your role will include both quantitative and qualitative analysis, while your manager provides ongoing support for your professional development. What You Will DO

  • Do product & market research projects for Gojek products for both customers: usage and attitude study, usability testing, market sizing, concept testing, market analysis, etc.
  • Attend/initiate meetings related to your stakeholders to build relationships with other functions and understand their research questions.
  • Build the research plan (including ensuring objectives, determining sample design, frameworks, timeline, and what method to use) with medium-low supervision from the manager.
  • Collect and analyze data using various research methods, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and data exploration, with medium—low supervision.
  • Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders in presentations, reports, and meetings.
  • Collaborating with diverse stakeholders and effectively communicating research findings to non-technical teams.

What You Will Need

  • Should have at least 2-3 years of experience in market research in an agency or in-house researcher with proven experience in market research, consumer insights, or related roles.
  • Critical Thinking: Encouraged to question assumptions, identify patterns, and draw insightful conclusions from complex data sets (both qualitative and quantitative), and the aptitude to pick up new skills quickly.
  • Rigorous Techniques: Employ established and reliable research methods to ensure the accuracy and reliability of findings. Plus points of being familiar with quantitative and analytics techniques.
  • Comprehensive Data Collection: Gather data from diverse sources to build a well-rounded understanding of the research subject.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: looking for ideas elsewhere and thinking outside the box when necessary, exploring multiple perspectives to problem-solving.
  • Rapid Adaptation: should be able to quickly adjust to changing project requirements, market trends, and unexpected challenges.
  • Having experience in projects with a strategic focus, like segmentation, usage & attitude, brand health tracking, and complex product launch, is an advantage.
