Job Description
As a Mobile Engineer, you'll work on our mobile applications, a specific project critical to our customers' needs. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new challenges across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.
Our products need to handle information at scale and extend beyond selling flights and hotels. We're looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, UI design and mobile; the list goes on and is growing every day.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the entire product lifecycle and strategy: this encompasses concept, design, testing, release, and support phases.
- Collaborate with product managers and other engineers: work in cross-functional teams to deliver the best customer experience.
- Develop mobile apps and mobile platform programs: write and maintain source code that meets the needs of our products and customers.
- Produce fully functional mobile applications: ensure code quality and functionality.
- Research and suggest new mobile products and applications: stay ahead of market trends and innovation.
- Understand our business and customer value: recognize how products impact our customers and drive business success.
- Leverage technology for business success: identify how technology can be a key enabler.
- Learn and share knowledge on new technologies and trends: apply new insights to current and future products.
- Collaborate across teams and departments: foster knowledge sharing and teamwork across the organization.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
- Passion and enthusiasm: demonstrated love for your work with attention to detail.
- 2+ years of professional mobile app development: experience with publicly available apps.
- Proven Android or iOS development experience: hands-on expertise.
- Knowledge of React Native (Typescript): proficiency in this framework.
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX design guidelines: skills in custom views, interaction, animations.
- Experience with agile and pair programming methodologies: proven teamwork in agile environments.
- Collaborative feedback experience: ability to share and receive feedback constructively.
- Fluent in English: strong communication skills.
