Project context:
Within the Training and Simulation Center, you will join the Image Component department. This Product and Component-oriented department develops software to create the immersive virtual environment for the trainees who are helicopter, airplane, or land vehicle pilots. In this context, we are looking for a confirmed Unreal-oriented software developer to complete an Agile team that is responsible for developing the new real-time 3D image generator based on Unreal.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the definition/review of software architecture and interfaces
- Participate in the definition/cutting/evaluation of User Stories
- Ensure the realization of User Stories (design, development, tests)
- Write the associated documentation (SDD, SUM, ICD, etc.)
- Comply with the coding rules in force
- Propose innovative solutions to improve the quality and performance of the software
Required Skills:
- Have an experience in 3D or video game industry
- Mastery in C++ 14, 17 and 20
- Good Experience with Unreal Engine 5 : SDK, Editor and tools(Profiling, automation …)
- Very good knowledge in rendering and graphic API (OpenGl, Vulkan…)
- Mastery in multithreaded programming (semaphore, mutex, signals…)
- Capable of understand complex code base
- Knowledge in Agile methodology and process
- Must be capable of writing/reading documentation in English
- Knowledge in GIT
- Teamwork
- Organized and methodical approach to the work, with strong communication skills
- Problem solving attitude
Preferred Skills:
- French speaker/reader
- Experience with Test Driven development
- Intercultural communication, including the ability to work in an international team.
