Job description
We're looking for a talented Product Designer with a strong bias toward action to join us. We're open to Mid-level and Senior applicants.
In the Akeneo organisation, each Product Line operates independently under a Single Threaded Owner (STO) at VP level. Within each Product Line, multiple Area Single Threaded Owners (Area-STOs) at Director level oversee several Impact Teams. Each Impact Team, led by an Impact Owner, comprises approximately eight engineers, designers and PMs who work autonomously, following their own processes and methodologies.

As we scale and enter a new strategic phase in an increasingly competitive market, delivering a seamless, intuitive user experience is more critical than ever. Reporting directly to your team's Impact Owner, you will collaborate closely with teams of engineers, product managers, designers and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end product design activities for your team, with an impact-oriented mindset. Bring team members together during the entire design journey.
• Conduct lean & continuous research activities, such as user/customer/partner interviews, surveys, usability testing, co-creation programs, etc.
• When valuable, create design artefacts such as sketches, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI.
• Work closely with engineering to ensure a high-quality implementation and outstanding user experience.
• Co-design with your team, Design peers and customers. Solicit and provide constructive feedback on a regular basis.
• Work with our Design Ops, Researchers and the rest of the Design team to continuously improve our ways of working.
• Ensure design consistency by contributing to our Design System, allowing us to continuously raise the bar of user experience for our entire product suite.

Qualifications

• Whatever your training, you have at least 4+ years of experience in UX/UI/Product design. You have a strong background in UX which includes solid qualitative research skills (interviews, usability testing, etc.) and co-creation methods (cross-functional workshops, design jams, design sprints, etc.).
• You have significant experience designing in B2B, Saas is a plus.
• You have a growth mindset, a good emotional intelligence, and embrace change.
• Ideally, you have experience working in an Impact Team environment.
• You're comfortable using Figma.
