About the Role
Prodigal is looking for a Mid-Market Account Executive (AE) to join our core sales team. We’re a small team and looking for someone with at least 2 years of Mid-Market Sales experience. We are looking for a self-starter with a passion for solving problems and delighting their customers. You will be working with a wide range of companies and have the opportunity to work on strategic, complex deals. You will learn value selling skills that will allow you to grow your career into any direction you want.

What you'll do
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by prospecting, qualifying leads, and managing opportunities through the sales funnel to close a quota of $800k+ annually.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and align the company’s solutions effectively.
- Work closely with the leadership team to shape and execute sales strategies, helping to position the product and highlight its unique value propositions.
- Drive revenue growth by meeting and exceeding sales targets, contributing directly to the company’s financial success and market presence.
- Gather and share insights on customer needs, market trends, and competitive activity to influence product roadmap and company strategy.
- Identify areas for improvement within the sales process, develop playbooks, and establish scalable workflows for future team growth.
- Partner with marketing, customer success, and product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and optimize end-to-end sales processes.
- Track sales metrics, report on progress to senior leadership, and provide feedback to refine and improve sales strategies and product offerings.
- Act as an ambassador for the company, consistently upholding its mission, values, and value propositions in all customer interactions and industry events.
What you'll bring
- 2+ years in a full cycle sales role
- Strong discovery and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on strategic and complex deals
- Relentless pipeline generation, partnering with Marketing and Sales Development but also executing your own daily and weekly outreach through multiple channels
- Experience in consumer finance is a huge plus; understanding our buyers needs: customer service and collections within agencies, BPOs, automotive and healthcare revenue management businesses
- Located near Mountain View ~1hour drive so we can meet once a week to brainstorm
