DESCRIPTION OF ROLE: This position is contingent on award notification.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primary manager and content creator for the command’s social media sites (currently Facebook, Linkedin and Instagram).
- Curates all relevant visual and audio/video media and news products, creates and retains statistics/measures of effectiveness for maximum engagement to a wide range of audiences; including Members of Congress, Department of Defense (DOD), industry stakeholders, general public as wells as military and civilian personnel within the NAVSEA enterprise.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must Haves:
- Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in English or Communications or related field.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in managing social media platforms.
- Knowledge of NAVSEA, Congress, the Navy and Department of Defense.
