MID-Level All-Source Analyst
Position Summary
DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level All-Source Analyst to provide intelligence analysis using multiple sources to assess, interpret, and forecast national security issues. The analyst will support collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements. The role requires in-depth research, analysis, and collaboration with intelligence agencies, providing critical intelligence insights and assessments.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis using intelligence from multiple sources to assess and forecast national security threats.
- Provide all-source analytic support to collections, operations, and investigations.
- Independently research, analyze, and conduct link analysis on complex intelligence issues.
- Evaluate source-provided information and verify accuracy using proper citation standards per ICON guidance.
- Prepare comprehensive intelligence and terrorism-related analytical products, delivered on a monthly to quarterly basis.
- Coordinate with representatives from intelligence agencies such as USCENTCOM, AFCENT, and other agencies as needed.
- Develop and maintain professional contacts with U.S. military and national-level intelligence agencies.
- Deliver intelligence briefings to senior officials bi-weekly to monthly regarding threats to DAF/DoD personnel and resources.
- Review and provide feedback on OSI-generated intelligence reports within the USCENTCOM/AFCENT AOR.
- Evaluate source networks for each AFOSI operating location in the USCENTCOM AOR, assessing productivity trends and intelligence requirements.
- Produce SVRs and OSR reports per 24 EFIS SOB SOPs, with bi-weekly deliveries or as required by the government.
- Conduct FUOPS analysis to support AFOSI counter-terrorism operations and contingency plans.
- Review SOMM database profiles, identifying discrepancies and assisting with profile updates.
- Provide on-site and off-site support for CONUS and OCONUS locations within the CENTCOM AOR as required.
- Ensure compliance with all security classification, caveats, and dissemination directives in intelligence products.
- Maintain passport, visa, and medical clearances to ensure worldwide deployability.
- Adhere to governing documents including but not limited to 24 EFIS SOPs, DoD instructions, and intelligence community guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current/Active TS/SCI
- Six (6) years of all-source analytical experience utilizing HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, or OSINT.
- One (1) year of experience providing analytical support to counterintelligence, counterterrorism, or HUMINT operations within the last three (3) years.
- Six (6) years of experience developing intelligence analysis products.
- Strong writing and analytical skills.
- Ability to effectively operate in a joint/combined intelligence team environment.
- Strong briefing and communication skills to support intelligence reporting and requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access).
- Experience with Analyst Notebook, SIPR/JWICS Access, and intelligence databases such as TAC/Tripwire, Palantir, SOMM, Proton, Intellink, CIA WIRE, GCOMC, HOT-R, NCTC Online, and J2 DCP Portal.
- Knowledge of AFOSI I2MS and/or CI2MS is desirable.
Additional Required Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of the relationship between DoD Joint Staff, Joint Commands, Major Commands, Task Forces, and national/service intelligence agencies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate technical and strategic-level matters to various audiences.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Strong skills in gathering, recording, and organizing data; identifying and using potential data sources; determining appropriate visual presentations of statistics or factual data; developing effective data collection procedures; maintaining accurate, detailed records.
- Ability to proactively approach analysis, identifying future threats or FIE changes without being purely reactive.
- One (1) year of comprehensive analytical support to operations related to Near-Peer countries ending within the last three (3) years. Preferred experience with two or more countries.
- One (1) year of comprehensive analytical support to operations within the USCENTCOM AOR ending within the last three (3) years.
- Experience with intelligence information and data collection, analysis, and integration with other all-source intelligence information, including writing finished intelligence products adhering to DNI analytic tradecraft standards.
- In-depth knowledge of the differences between HUMINT and CI.
- Understanding of Predictive vs Reactive analysis per JP 2-0, Joint Intelligence, 26 May 2022.
Desired Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs, National Security Studies, Arabic Studies, International Business, Intelligence/Counterintelligence, or a related field.
- Additional Expertise:
- Southwest Asian regional expertise.
- Experience managing source networks via SOMM.
Salary Range
$80,000- $85,000 per year
