BlackStone eIT is a leading computer software company specializing in advanced IT solutions. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mid DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Mid DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the development and deployment process to ensure smooth operations and efficient delivery of our software products.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with our development and operations teams to automate and streamline our software development and release processes. You will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our infrastructure, implementing monitoring solutions, and troubleshooting production issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, cloud technologies, and experience working in an agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate and streamline build, deployment, and release processes
- Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure optimal system performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures
- Conduct regular security audits and develop security best practices to protect our infrastructure and data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Document infrastructure and processes for knowledge sharing and future reference
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of networking and security principles
- Ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
