Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting query performance issues
- Monitor database up times, alerts, and performance to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
- Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Implement and enforce database security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and business units to understand and address their database needs.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on database performance and key initiatives.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs.
- Participate in on call rotation.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Postgre, etc.) are advantageous.
Experience:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in database administration.
- Proven experience managing and maintaining database systems.
- Hands-on experience with database management tools and technologies.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in database management tools and technologies.
