THE ROLE
We are seeking a technically passionate individual to join our team as an MS BI Developer. In this role, you will be the driving force behind designing, implementing, and managing a robust and scalable business intelligence environment. You will handle complex data challenges, ETL processes, and ensure the security and integrity of our databases and BI solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and build integrated solutions that support reporting and analytics. You will manage multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems, and escalate issues as necessary. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will be instrumental in transforming our data landscape and driving operational efficiency.
This role is part of our overall technical transformation. As we move our systems and operations to the cloud, you will have the opportunity to build our BI environment from the ground up and implement emerging technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and Develop BI Solutions: Create data models, ETL processes, and data repositories using Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and MS Fabric.

Manage and Develop Reports: Use tools like Power BI Apps, Power Automate, and MS Fabric to create and manage a suite of management and operational reports.

Data Analysis: Analyze data to provide insights and support business decisions.

Database and Data Lake Management: Ensure the performance, security, and integrity of databases and Azure Data Lakes, both on-premises and in the Azure cloud.

Collaboration: Work with business leaders, technology business analysts, and infrastructure teams to identify business needs and opportunities and translate them into technical solutions6.

Leverage Azure Services and MS Fabric: Utilize Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, MS Fabric, and Azure Data Lake Storage for data integration, storage, and analytics
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree: A degree in information systems, information technology, computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, professional training, and work experience.

Database Technologies: At least 7 years of experience utilizing database technologies, including architecting data structures for reporting and analysis.

SQL Queries: A minimum of 7 years of experience writing complex SQL queries.

MS BI Stack: At least 5 years of experience using the MS BI stack.

Reporting Tools: A minimum of 4 years of experience using reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

ETL/ELT Tools: At least 3 years of experience working with ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS or Azure Data Factory (ADF).

MS Fabric: Experience working with MS Fabric is a plus.

Industry Experience: Experience with the recruiting or executive search industry is a plus.
