Job Description:
The Azure Stack HCI Specialist drives the Pre-Sales and architecture design for Hybrid solutions based on HPE infrastructure, helps the organizations to leverage hybrid technology for applications environments and other use cases. The Azure Stack HCI Specialist has enough knowledge for both, cloud and on-premises solutions, helping HPE partners to develop a Hybrid scenario. Responsible to growth Microsoft Hybrid share inside HPE through the sales representatives.
This position supports LAC Regional HPE Azure Stack HCI sales.
How you´ll make your mark:
Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.
- Provide technical and commercial support and trainings to HPE internal sales teams & Channel Partners for Hybrid Solutions based in Azure Stack HCI.
- Create and maintain an Azure Stack HCI pipeline for all LAC Countries in order to identify where to provide support and resources to growth Hybrid Microsoft Solutions.
- Align with HPE LAC Segment Management strategic plan to help with execution across activities involved in the completion of projects, regarding Microsoft Hybrid Solutions based in Azure Stack HCI, training and readiness for HPE Sales Reps & Channel Partners.
- Personally, engages on a limited set of critical opportunities for purposes of endorsing and representing Microsoft Hybrid Solutions as an element of HPE’s Offerings. Drive internal resources, tools, references and/or enablement needed to help advance their opportunities. Facilitate the closing of opportunities by engaging HPE & MS Senior Management.
- Work with HPE Distributors, Resellers, ISV’s, System Integrators and Service Providers to identify Azure Stack HCI opportunities based in HPE infrastructure.
- Promote and help to growth Azure Stack offering through Greenlake As a Service scenarios.
- Engage opportunities with the Microsoft Account team (in the case of Managed accounts Enterprise), to develop together the Hybrid scenario for the customer. (Must be a Partner involve always).
- Manage Microsoft Azure Stack HCI Demo at HPE Mexico’s Customer Experience Center.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science & Engineering
- Previous experience in sales, especially with Partner (SI, SP, ISV’s, VAR’s)/Distributors and Resellers, 1-3 years’ Partner Sales
- Previous experience in Pre-Sales and/or as IT Architect, Cloud Architect.
- Knowledge of both technical and commercial Cloud Solutions, Microsoft Server solutions, and of HPE’s Hybrid solutions and Compute portfolio
- Other Skills: Oral & written communication and presentation, Office, at least mid-level for Excel (macros, reporting), English spoken.
