Medior UX Designer

Join Movir, the leading income insurer in the Netherlands! As a Medior UX Designer, you will play a vital role in enhancing our extensive range of digital services in the disability insurance sector.

At Movir, we operate within three key chains: customer acquisition, customer service, and reintegration. This structured approach enables us to drive swift changes and maintain a sharp focus. This exciting opportunity is within our dynamic reintegration chain.

What you are going to do

The reintegration chain involves complex processes where you may sometimes deal with up to five different streams for one claim. Each type of claim may also have a different process in which the balance between automated processes and human intervention can vary. You assist the chain in designing and optimizing user-friendly processes and interfaces for both internal systems and customer-oriented applications. Your tasks include:

• Planning and conducting user research to turn problems into validated solutions
• Facilitating workshops and creative sessions (such as a Design Sprint)
• Designing, testing, and iterating interactive prototypes with a focus on efficient and intuitive user experiences. You assess the possibilities offered by the Outsystems platform
• Collaborating with the requirements engineer and developers to implement and optimize designs
• In addition to your responsibilities within the reintegration chain, you are also part of our new UX-Movir team consisting of 2 designers, and you help further develop the maturity of UX Design as a member of the NN Design guild

Who you are

You are someone who seeks collaboration to contribute to common goals. You see opportunities to bring improvements into practice and can convince your stakeholders in the chain with arguments and energy. You are able to keep an eye on the big picture; you make connections and can distinguish main issues from details, and understand how the work and actions of others are part of a larger context. Of course, you have:

• A completed relevant HBO or WO education level
• 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer in an Agile environment
• Experience in organizing and/or facilitating creative sessions and collaborating with other colleagues to achieve 'accepted' designs
• Experience with modern design and prototyping tools, especially Figma (Organization)
• Experience with the Outsystems platform is a plus
• Excellent command of the Dutch language

Who you will work with

Movir is part of NN Damage & Income and is located in Nieuwegein. Within the chain, you work together with the Empowered Product Team, which includes colleagues from both the business and our IT department. Primarily, you are part of the IT department where our Scrum teams also work. You work closely with the chain lead, the product owner, the reintegration Scrum team, and the business, and of course ensure regular alignment with various stakeholders. Each chain has its own UX designer that you can always reach out to.

Outside of the Movir team, you are also part of the NN Design Guild. Here, we discuss our profession with more than 50 designers from all corners of the company and ensure that we continue to learn and develop together. All designers also come together regularly for knowledge sharing, inspiration sessions, and co-creation. This way, you always have creative minds to bounce ideas off of. And of course, there are also social gatherings like drinks!

There is no relocation budget available for this role and we are looking for someone currently living in The Netherlands.
