Position Overview:

The Media Buyer, Paid Media researches and analyzes audience demographics, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for effective media placements. This involves using data analytics, platforms tools and industry knowledge to decide where and when to place ads for maximum impact and ROI. As a key member of the paid media team, you will be responsible for the strategic development and optimization of high-performing advertising campaigns across diverse platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a full-funnel paid media strategy that supports brand awareness, engagement, and conversion goals
  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube) and paid social (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit)
  • Analyze and optimize campaign and channel performance, manage budgets, and present actionable insights and recommendations
  • Employ sophisticated targeting methodologies, including but not limited to custom, retargeting, and lookalike audiences, to optimize audience reach and engagement.
  • Develop comprehensive reports on campaign performance, meticulously analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to formulate data-driven recommendations and enhance subsequent campaign effectiveness.
  • Stay up to date on platform trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices to keep the brand ahead of the curve

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in media buying and digital marketing, with a strong understanding of both organic and paid strategies
  • Proven track record of managing successful paid campaigns across Google Ads and social platforms - bonus if you also understand Programmatic media buying
  • Proficient with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager)
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, organizational and multitasking abilities, attention to detail and critical thinking skills
