The opportunity or About Project
The Alkimos SeaWater Alliance project will deliver WA's next major water source - A new seawater desalination plant at Alkimos. At completion of stage 1 the plant will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water to millions of Western Australians each year.
We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer to collaborate in detailed engineering design on the project.
Responsibilities
- Preparing technical specifications
- Data sheets for the procurement process.
- Technical evaluation of offers.
- After purchase order engineering activities.
- Suppliers engineering activities supervision.
- Reading P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
- Collaborative oriented and proactive.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in pump systems or fluid control industries.
- Strong SolidWorks skills for creating 3D models and manufacturing-ready drawings.
- Experience in creating technical documentation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
