The opportunity or About Project
The Alkimos SeaWater Alliance project will deliver WA's next major water source - A new seawater desalination plant at Alkimos. At completion of stage 1 the plant will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water to millions of Western Australians each year.
We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to collaborate in detailed engineering design on the project.
Responsibilities
- Project management skills.
- Preparing technical specifications
- Data sheets for the procurement process.
- Technical evaluation of offers.
- After purchase order engineering activities.
- Suppliers engineering activities supervision.
- Construction activities engineering support.
- Reading P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams),
Required Skills and Competencies
- Extensive experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in design, machinery, or systems optimization.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven leadership experience in managing mechanical engineering projects from design through to implementation.
- Strong knowledge of CAD software, including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, and/or others.
